Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP)

Are you age 55 or older, unemployed, and looking for part-time work?

Our Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) may be able to assist. SCSEP is a community service and work-based job training program for older Americans. SCSEP participants gain work experience in a variety of community service activities at host agencies by working an average of 20 hours per week at minimum wage. SCSEP is currently accepting applications. To qualify for SCSEP:
- Must live in Dallas or Tarrant County
- American Indian/Alaskan Native preference. Non-Native applicants also encouraged to apply.
- State I.D.
- Social Security Card
- Tribal Enrollment/CDIB card (if applicable)
- Proof of Residence
- Last 30 days of income from all adult household members (SSI, SSDI, check stubs, etc.)
