Inter-Tribal Outreach Center

Inter-Tribal Outreach Center Vision

In the past few years, the Urban Inter-Tribal Center of Texas has been successful in efforts to expand services available to our community members by focusing on building parternships. The goal of the Inter-Tribal Outreach Center at UITCT is to work with Tribal Nations to create better access to services for out-of-area tribal members. The Inter-Tribal Outreach Center is a communal Center that is designed as a co-shared work space to house tribal representatives from multiple tribes to perform outreach services for North Texas tribal members.

Creating Better Access to Tribal Services

The Urban Inter-Tribal Center of Texas is an established, well-known Native American Center, having served the North Texas Native American community for over 50 years. Located between the UITCT Primary Care Clinic and the UITCT Administration building, the Inter-Tribal Outreach Center is located just north of the Dallas Medical District, centrally located between Dallas and Fort Worth. The building is easy to access, 1 block-off Interstate Highway-35, near major highways I-635, I-30, State Hwy’s 183, and 114. The building includes free parking and has a public transit bus stop in front of the building connecting to individuals with express service to the nearest light-rail station.

Fostering a Sense of Community

The Inter-Tribal Outreach Center at UITCT also provides space for meetings and community events, which fosters a sense of community and supports Native culture. The Pendleton Room in the Outreach Center has the capacity to host 100 people and includes sound and presentation equipment for meetings and events. We encourage community partners to inquire about using our space to reach out to the DFW Native community!
